Bought as a foal in Cavan, Galloway was broken and produced here at Hollypark. Although a nervous horse always growing up, perseverance and time brought Galloway up to competing at a competitive level at 1.50's throughout 2019, with the plan of progressing onto 3* and eventually 4* level halted by Covid-19, Galloway continues to improve all the time at home.

In 2021, Tim MacDonagh and Galloway were crowned the 2021 GAIN Equine Nutrition Alltech National Grand Prix Champions.

An impressive year in 2019 saw results such as multiple placings in the National GP league and the 1.50 New Heights Champions series including a win in each led Galloway to come second overall in the 1.40 National GP league and 3rd in the New Heights Champions league

Moving on to 2022, Tim and Galloway won a New Heights Grand Prix in Balmoral, leading him to qualify for the 5* in the RDS, competing in their first 1.60 and picking up 4 faults in the Dublin Stakes Mini Grand Prix. Other results included a top 10 result in a 3* 1.50 ranking class in Bolesworth, England.
